To serve the public interest by advancing the safety, effectiveness and effecincy of avation in the United States and around the world by conductung a continuing program of reaserch, development and enginnering in colaboration with the avaiton community.
Experience
For over 30 years, MITRE/CAASD has provided objective and unbiased technical, operational and engineering support and solutions to the global aviation community including civil aviation authorities, international airport authorities, airlines and other aviation organizations in over 60 countries.
MITRE/CAASD has provided its expertise in a broad range of areas realted to communications, naviagtion and survelliance/air traffic mamagnet system modernization; performance based navigation; aviation safety and safety management system development; airspace and airport capacity planning; airport noise abatement and obstacle clearance analysis; acquisition support for systems and services; and aviation policy analysis.
