Information Elements
This diagram shows the information elements that the Host Computer System
(HCS) could provide to the Flight Object and the information elements
the Host could use from the Flight Object. This type of interaction between
the Host and the Flight Object is not expected to be available until the
beyond Free Flight Phase 2 (FFP2) time frame.
- For more detail on how the Host Computer System might interact with
each component of the Flight Object, click on that components name in
the diagram.
- To see other capabilities that use an information element, look up
that information element alphabetically
by name.
Caveats
Diagram only includes information elements that are:
- Currently available to or from the Host Computer System electronically
(not information known only to controller or pilot) through existing
interfaces
- Applicable to the capabilities that are expected to be introduced
during the FFP1 and FFP2
time frames (see associated issue)
